Where to find mizuno gx sonic stock.... New model coming soon

Mizuno doesn't seem to make enough GX Sonic suits. They never seem to have any stock, especially in the most popular sizes. I get asked freqeuntly if I know when they will restock. 99% of the time I have no idea. But right now, I know one is coming - of sorts.
For every other tech suit in exsistence, there seems to be a steady flow of stock throughout the suits life cycle. In fact I have never heard of any other model from Speedo, arena, TYR being unavaliable. But with Mizunos, stock is eliminated within weeks of a release, even if you fly to Japan and visit their flagship store, they won't have any to buy. I also don't think its some hype generating marketing strategy. I simply think they just don't make enough... or can't make enough!
For the last few generations of Mizuno GX Sonic (Mizuno's flagship line of suits), we generally see an initial launch in one colorway, followed by unavailability. Then over the next couple of years of the products lifespan, we see 1 or 2 new colors announced which have a pre-order phase and then consequently sell out.
The current GX Sonic generation is VI, which comes in the NV, CR & ET variations. I have two brand new NVs in the latest black and teal colorway (there has been 3 colors) that I pre-ordered back in January and have left in the box until my taper meet in two weeks time. The VI launched at the end of 2023, was the flagship through the Paris Olympics but is about to be replaced by a new flagship....
The GX Royal
If you want to make a competition swim suit, you have to get it World Aquatics Approved. Once you get approval it is immediately updated to the World Aquatics Approved list. This means if you look at the list regularly enough, you will always be able to catch a upcoming release early.
Mizuno actually got their next generation flagship approved in January this year, where 4 mens and 7 womens models were approved with the tag, GX Royal. Now obviously we know something is coming, but we don't know what it means. In fact I could still be wrong and this is not a new generation of flagship models but the fact there are 3 variations is enough evidence for me. (There has been other models approved which seem to be more budget orientated and an Open Water suit)
To further evidence this reality, Mizuno has clearly just teased the launch of a new model. We also have the date of next Friday, the 17th October 2025 as the announcement date. Why is this important?
Next Friday will provide us with one of two things outside of information on the new suits.
We will be able to pre-order the new models with an estimated ship date
We will get get a date when the suits will be made available to pre order
Either way in the very near future, you will be able to once again, purchase a Mizuno tech suit. Don't pass up this opportunity....

Shouldn't we wait?
I understand that most of your reactions will be to wait and see if the new suits are even any good. Wait for me to put out a review. Wait for your friend to try them. But the reality is that by the time I have reviewed the suit, you will be waiting for a new colorway so stock is replenished and pulling your hair out with FOMO. If you don't get one of the first batch there is a genuine chance you wont be getting one until around May next year.
I have been an early adopter of every Mizuno GX Sonic and each generation is normally only a small refinement over the previous generation. Long story short it is safe to assume that these new models will be as good or better than the previous generation, something that has been true for every generation of GX Sonic ever. So while I will be bringing you a review, Mizuno have my trust to pre-order this suit at the firsty oppurtunity so I don't miss out. I would recommend you do the same thing if you are either
a) Have been trying to buy a GX Sonic VI (there won't be a VI restock now)
b) Are curious about this new model
My Hopes for the new model
While I have full faith that these suits are going to be incredible, I do have some hopes as to how the new lineup will look.
Based on the World Aquatics Approved list we know there will be 3 or 4 models in the new generation.

My hope is that we get the following:
A new sprint model, following up the Noble Velocity (NV) or ST models of the past.
A return to the Multi Racer (MR). From the GX Sonic II all the way to the V, we always got a MR model. With the VI we saw a stop to this trend and instead got the Compressive Release (CR). The CR is perhaps the most unique Mizuno model ever released and while I liked it, it doesn't fill the gap of the MR and therefore I would like something more akin to the MR once again.
Lastly I want something based on the Neo SL. This is the perfect compliment to the NV/ST & MR. Something for those who want a lighter, less compressive suit with Mizuno's magic.
To summarise I would like to see a Mizuno GX Royal, NV, MR & SL.
I think there is no need to theory craft anymore than that because everything will be made clear next friday and whether or not there are 3 or 4 models. There are 4 GX Sonic Royal jammers on the WA website but 2 of them share the same product code hence I am unsure if there will be 3 or 4 variations of the suit at this point in time.
get ready to pre-order
The bottomline is, be ready to hit the pre-order button from as early as next Friday. Put the money aside for a suit. Even the pre-order for these suits is like getting Oasis concert tickets, theres a limit of 2 per person and the spots go quick.
Hopefully Mizuno make more for this run but my expecation is that once these are gone, there will be a long old wait for stock to come back. When these are available they will be listed to pre-order on Buyee. Use my link to save 10% off your first Buyee purchase. They will be roughly 30,000 Japanese Yen or £160.

So much anticipation! Can you expand more on the CR vs MR? It feels like both are designed to be a middle distance suit, so I'd love your thoughts.
